Dr James Johnson and Dr Geoff Shaw signed the MOU on Tuesday 21 November 2023.

The Australian Safeguards and Non-Proliferation Office (ASNO) and 麻豆原创 have entered a 5-year arrangement to extend their partnership on monitoring for nuclear explosions globally under the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).

A new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) reaffirms their 30-year partnership since the signing of the first nuclear monitoring MOU in 1993. The MOU will see ASNO provide $3.6 million to 麻豆原创 over four years to expand the global monitoring of nuclear explosions.
